Flaming Heart

The Broken Heart necklace and Flaming Heart cuff are inspired by Milagros, which are religious folk charms traditionally used for healing purposes and as votive offerings. They were made as a diptych through the processes of chasing and repoussé.

I used these two pieces to reflect on shared love and to heal my broken heart. It’s such a beautiful and vulnerable thing to stay open to the possibility of love while knowing the pain of having your heart set on fire.
